International water polo tournament

30, 31 August & 1 September 2024 

 

Dear water polo lovers,

 

On August 30, 31 & the 1st of September of 2024 the annual TNC tournament of Z.P.V. Piranha will start again! This tournament will take place at the outside pool of the University of Twente in Enschede, and together we will play matches, party and of course enjoy all the fun that comes with a summer tournament!

 

So step into a world where water meets wonder, where the echoes of history mingle with the cheers of the crowd! Welcome to the "Night at the Mu-sea-um" Water Polo Tournament, where the pool transforms into a time machine, and every splash is a journey through the ages. 

 

On the Friday evening, we kick off with a welcome drink. The matches will start on Saturday and will be followed by a big party on the Saturday night. On Sunday, we will continue with the matches, which will last until about 15:00. After this, the award ceremony will take place.

 

The teams will be divided into 4 groups, namely:

• Men's advanced

• Men's intermediate

• Ladies 

• Mixed (beginners)

 

For all participants it is possible to stay 1 or 2 days on the camping field, the cost of this is €8 and covers the rent of the field and a delicious breakfast. On Saturday evening all players can stay for dinner, the cost of this will be around €15.

 

Registrations are also open as of now, and can be done via this registration form. The registration fee per team is €130. We also accept registrations by mail. We would love to hear from you, but please do so before June 30, so we can get the tournament worked out to perfection in time.

 

To keep the matches on track, we are of course always looking for referees who would like to play at the tournament. Are you or do you know someone who likes to do this? Register yourself or him/her via the registration form or send us an email.
