After The Open Water Course
Do you already have an open water certification, or did you get one with us? Then you can expand your skills by taking specialties. We offer many different specialties, from mainly theoretical specialties to the first steps to becoming a diving instructor. Sometimes you also need certain specialties to go on diving weekends or trips. These can often be taken during the weekend. Specialties can be purchased via the webshop, and are scheduled in Amazone.

What you could do after your open water course:
-
Deep Diving - Learn to dive, and plan dives up to 40 metres deep.

What else do we do?
Besides all the training, we are also here for a good dose of fun.
From early May to late October, we actually dive every weekend. These are sometimes dives to nearby lakes and ponds such as Grasbroek, Bussloo, Wijthmenerplas or Speicherbecken Geeste. We also organise various weekends, such as a flow weekend to Zeeland, a summer holiday in the Costa Brava or even deep diving in an old cement factory in Hemmoor. In other words, plenty of options to maintain your diving skills after your training! Here you will also find the weekend schedule for part of the upcoming summer season.
In addition, we have an activities committee called the DAC. They arrange other activities such as a float-in cinema in the pool, a trip to the dive fair or a behind-the-scenes look at Burger'sZoo. There is always something to do. These activities are all listed in our own membership system called ‘Amzaone’. Once you are a member, you get access to this, and you can join us on activities. We also attend the Piranha Pool Party every year as divers, and we can also attend a super cool party.
